Together Away

The year 2015 was a watershed for Bella and Edward Cullen. Their daughter had finally recovered from injuries she suffered in a car accident in 2013, and they had just weathered the upheaval of breaking off contact with Bella’s mother forever. They needed a break. They needed to get away. They needed to be together, just the two of them.

Here you will find the diary entries Edward wrote documenting the lovers’ travels in 2015. The series begins with Bella finding inspiration for the trip in the Olympic Mountains.  Six months later, the couple leaves for Jacksonville, Florida, and then moves on to Isle Esme to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary before heading overseas.

JulieVansThis series, based on Twilight: The Missing Pieces, was conceived and written by author Julie Vans. Writing stories as Edward Cullen is one of the many projects she has taken on in the last year. Life is busy, but she always leaves room for the Cullens amid the bedlam. She writes erotica under the name of Judy Canter. You’ll find her website here.

I practically live in the twilight saga books now and thanks to you I’ve been able to finally come almost full circle with them. Is it wrong to be so addicted to the books?

No! I’m still addicted to them too!!!! I just finished reading the series for the second time this year, because I missed the characters that much! 😍 Now I want to read Edward’s POV again! Thank you Ms Lassiter for having the courage to finish what the author started! It’s no easy task to take on a popular series and try to remain true to the characters “voice”. You’re like a surrogate mother (author)! Although you aren’t their biological mother (author), you’ve done one hell of an amazing job “raising” them as your own! Edward deserved to have his voice heard too! It just saddens me that his true “mother” abandoned him so early on! You have my greatest respect for choosing to nurture this to its completion- and with no paycheck to inspire you to do it!!!!! You sacrificed your time to do this, and I am forever grateful!

Ahhh, thanks so much, Beth (and sorry for my delayed reply). I loved doing it because I was so disappointed that the “biological mother” (ha!) didn’t finish Edward’s POV. Anyway, thanks for reaching out. Best, -PAL

Hi PAL! How have you been? I know you said that you’ve busy working on other things in life / books , and that writing these stories don’t really pay the bills LOL. Does that mean that you are completely done with writing Edward’s POV for good, or do you think that one day you’ll come back and write more, at least for this Together Away part?

Also would you or Julie Vans continue with Twenty Years on? It looks like you had more ideas for it.

      Hi Joy,
I keep thinking I might, but it’s a tremendous amount of work to get back up to speed on the world significantly enough to write new material that projects into the future. We made quite a few mistakes. As for this page, though, it was conceived and written by Julie Vans (edited by me) and she’s gone on to other projects as well. Therefore, I doubt that we’ll continue this page.

p.s. Sorry, I didn’t respond to your comment before now. I’ve been taking a break.

I have read these books and other stories at least ten times already. Just like I did with Stephanie Meyers works. I want to commend you on your writing. The stories are wonderfully written and truely entertaining. It’s too bad you did not or could not get these books and stories published. You could have made a lot of money!! Anyway, congratulations on your work. Keep up the great works. I am certainly a fan. 🙂

    Hello,

It would be great if you could do “For your e-reader, a single file” for Together Away and Twenty years on.
    Thank you very much.

You are right that it would be great. I’ve resisted doing so because I didn’t want to put that file out on the internet before the stories were finished. It seems that perhaps they will never be finished, though. -PAL
